Estimated Tax Payment Reminders

This is a friendly reminder that your quarterly estimated tax payments are due by April 15 (for Jan 1 - Mar 31 payment period), June 15 (for Apr 1 - May 31 payment period), September 15 (for Jun 1 - Aug 31 payment period) and January 15 (for Sep 1 - Dec 31 payment period)**.

  • If you know you need to make an estimated quarterly tax payment, please refer to the 1040-ES form that was given to you with your last tax return. This form will have the minimum amount you should pay each quarter to avoid a penalty.

  • You can make the payment via IRS direct pay IRS Direct Payment using your bank account information.

    • Click "Make a Payment."

    • Select your reason

    • Select your form type

    • Select your tax year

Payment for E-file Return: Make sure you select "Tax Return - 1040 - 2020" to apply payment to the correct year.

Payment of Quarterly Estimated Taxes: Make sure you select "Estimated Tax – 1040ES - 2021" to apply payment to the correct year.

Payment with Extension of Time to File: Make sure you select "Extension - 1040 - 2020" to apply payment to the correct year.

***YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY USING A PRIOR YEAR FILED TAX RETURN INFORMATION*** (IE - 2019)
